A small, open-source decision model from AWS's Strands team.
The Strands Agents team released Strands Decider 2B in strands-labs, a small decision model for fast experimentation and local development. Like Jev, it picks between sets of options and assigns simple numerical scores, and it gives each decision a reliability score. The post is direct about the trade: one parallel pass makes it significantly worse than reasoning models at complex problems, and it cannot generate text.
