A public ranking, paid weekly. You stand above everyone who pays less a week, and you can stop any week.

What a slot costs

10 slots. A slot is $19 a week or more, in US dollars, billed weekly by Stripe until you cancel.
Rank is what you pay a week. Nothing else counts: no votes, no review.
Or prepay 10 weeks at once for 30% off, billed every 10 weeks. You rank at the full weekly price: $50 a week prepaid ranks the same as $50 paid weekly.
Amounts go up in $5 steps from $19: $19, $24, $29 and so on. To pass the slot above you, pay the next step over what it pays.
On equal amounts, whoever got there first keeps the higher rank. So to pass someone, you have to beat what they pay, not match it.
To move up once you hold a slot, enter the same link again and pay the difference. Both weekly charges run and the amounts add up, so you pay only what you add.
Pay less than the tenth slot and you are still listed on /sponsors, unranked, and you move up the moment a slot above you is dropped. You are never outbid off the board.

The 10 slots are the Sponsors block under the hero, the bar pinned under the header, and the strip at the foot of the screen on phones.
The top five are also the Sponsors card: on every build page, in the feed and in the sidebar.
Everyone who pays is listed on the board at /sponsors, in order.
Links carry rel="sponsored", as search engines require for paid links. A sponsor slot is advertising, not a backlink.
Until ten sponsors are paying, the sponsors who bought a rank outright before 2026-09-24 fill the slots nobody pays for. A weekly payment takes a slot off them straight away.

$100 a week. Your own card in the feed, with your picture on it, every twelve cards — on the home page, every category page and every format page.
It is not a rank and there is nothing to outbid. One flat price, one placement.
More than one buyer takes turns: the slots are dealt round-robin, so two sponsors get every other one.
The picture is the share image your own page already has (og:image). Email a different one and it is used instead. With neither, the card runs without a picture.
It says Sponsored on it, in words, and its link carries rel="sponsored".
Cancel any week, the same way as a slot.

$100, paid once. A guide about your product, written here, listed in the guides index and kept for good — there is no week to renew and nothing comes down.
You say what it should cover at checkout, and you see the draft before it goes up. Usually within a week.
It is labelled Sponsored in its byline and on its row in the index.
Its links to you carry rel="sponsored". That is what search engines require of a paid link, and it is not negotiable: what you are buying is the page, the readers and the AI citations, not a backlink.
It is written to be true. Anything that cannot be backed up does not go in it, whoever paid.

A product, tool or site you own or may represent.
Links are matched by address without the query string: example.com/?ref=x and example.com are the same listing, and tracking parameters are dropped.
Not allowed: sexual or adult content, scams, malware, gambling, chat or group invite links, and link shorteners.
Your listing's name and tagline are read from your page's title and description when you pay, so they are never mistyped. Change them on your site and pay again to refresh them.

Checkout is run by Stripe. Card details never reach this site.
Your slot goes live within two minutes of the first charge clearing.
It renews every week. Stripe emails a receipt and an invoice each time.
Cancel any week, yourself, from the Stripe link at the foot of this page or in any receipt. Your listing comes down within the hour and you are not charged again.
No refunds for a week already started, and no refund for being passed in the ranking. Cancelling is how you stop paying.
A prepaid slot is not refunded for the weeks left. Cancel it and it stays up to the end of the 10 weeks paid for, then does not renew.
A charge that fails takes the listing down until it clears.
A listing that breaks these rules is taken down and its subscription cancelled and refunded.
Clicks are counted by Google Analytics. Visitors who block analytics are not counted, so the real number is higher.

Thirteen products bought a rank outright while the board was pay-once. Their listings stay on /past-sponsors for good, with the same rel="sponsored" link they paid for.
They also hold any of the ten slots nobody is paying for, and come out of a slot one at a time as weekly sponsors take them.
Taking a weekly slot puts you straight above all of them, whatever they paid.
