jev-ultrafast
Browser Use’s browser agent, with Jev choosing each next step.

The Browser Use team replaced the step decision in their browser agent with a Jev call: given the page, which element to act on next. It is the most-starred repository built on Jev, and Browser Use describe it as the fastest and cheapest web agent.
The substitution is narrow and that is the whole idea. A browser agent spends most of its calls on one repeated question — of the elements on this page, which one do I act on next — and that question has a fixed, enumerable answer set. It is a Choice, not an essay, so it does not need a model that writes. Planning and anything that has to be composed in prose can stay with a language model; the step decision comes back in milliseconds for a fraction of the cost.
Browser Use is the same team behind the browser-use agent framework, which is why this repository is the reference implementation most other browser builds on this site copy from. Several of them say so directly: the piano-playing build here uses the jev-ultrafast setup with its own decision scheduling on top.
Read the repository for what it is: a demonstration that the expensive part of a web agent was never the reasoning, it was the number of times you had to ask. Check the star count below against the date it was read — this one moves faster than any other repository in the directory.
