An open-source, Jev-compatible decision model on an Ettin-1B encoder.
CanadaOrNaw released Dex, an open-source System One decision model under Apache 2.0. It uses the Ettin-1B bidirectional encoder with a decision head trained from scratch, and it answers the same POST /v1/systemone requests as Jev. Across the author's three test sets of 5,327 questions, Dex scores 71.4% against 81.8% for Jev and 64.0% for stock Laya. The README also lists where it falls short, such as medical questions and judging whether code is correct.
